I’d really like to win because as stupid as this sounds, this is JUST before all my final GCSE examinations begin, and Jose Gonzales has been my soundtrack to my successful revision sessions. Even when I’m at his gig I’d be remembering all the stuff I learnt haha! This would also be a nice way of calming me down before I go in the following week for all the dreaded exams in the first place
I’ve always wanted to see him, and I think rather than a mental concert, Jose would really de-stress me and I can also cross him off my ‘to-see’ list!
I would love to go to this show – because Jose and Newton F are two of my musical heroes – I have seen and met Newton, now i’d love to see Jose! Seeing TinaIrwen would be the icing on the cake
I’m a singer myself, and their music really speaks to me – i’d be an integral part of an enthusiastic audience! It will give me the motivation to revise for my final exams (i’m a university student!) and seeing Jose will give me that extra push towards graduating!
I LOVE Mr Gonzalez! I have been a fan of his for many years now. The first time I heard him was on the radio one busy evening whilst I was decorating. I remember I actually had to stop what I was doing and was just struck by this amazing sound of him singing and playing. I have been a great fan ever since!
I love his style of guitar playing, I too favour finger picking when I play and that sound he produces on the classical guitar, is just gorgeous, so sensitive, solemn and powerful at the same time.
I have yet to see him live, so this would be a really great and memorable experience.
