About four months ago.. or maybe even five.. or six.. I submitted my showreel (www.ohdearyme.com) to a pepsi maxist competition for passionate music bloggers.. yes.. yes I did..
So I came home from a great gig at 02 Indigo Arena last night (We Are Scientists are hilarious.. if you’ve never seen them in an interview you should definitely go watch them on youtube.. I remember as a runner I had to log a two hour tape by them once. It was the best two hours of logging I would ever log… ) …ANYWAY logged on to myspace.. (ahem I am aware I just used the word log..yet again) and checked my inbox.. .. and it turns out the PR company for the Pepsi Maxx competition have been trying to contact me on hotmail for weeks to tell me that I’d won the competition! Don’t they know hotmail is dead??
So I have to go and find out my prize on Monday! How terribly EXCITING.. apparently its meant to be ‘the music experience of my life…’ … hmmmmm.. I think its more exciting not knowing…. but ironically I can’t wait til Monday..
